Jobsite Radar by AQLO Labs $199/month

For Chicago roll-off companies

Call the contractor before the dumpster lands.

Every day, the City of Chicago issues building permits for roof tear-offs, masonry, gut rehabs and new builds. Jobsite Radar turns them into a list you can dispatch from: address, job size, and the contractor's phone number.

What's on the list

One row per permit, citywide. The jobs with the most debris are on top, so the first calls of the day are the ones worth the most.

Debris

Large tear-offs, additions, gut rehabs, demolition, new builds. Small tuckpointing, counters, low-value interior work. Everything else is Medium.

Timing

Fast roof and masonry jobs usually need a box in the first week. Standard renovation and interior work. 1–2 months out new construction, so you can line it up early.

Contractor & phone

From the City's licensed contractor registry, so the number belongs to the company on the permit. Use the Ward column to keep only your service area.

What we leave out: revisions to permits that are already open, solar panels, EV chargers, signs, antennas and electrical-only jobs. They show up in the City's data but rarely need a dumpster.

Why the first week matters

A roof replacement permit is followed by a dumpster permit at the same address about three times as often as a random Chicago address.

About half of that demand has shown up by the end of the first week, some of it even before the permit is issued. The contractor who hears from you first is usually the one who books.

Share of roof-permit dumpster demand, cumulative. Based on City of Chicago building permits and street dumpster permits, 2024–2026. Dumpsters on private property don't need a City permit, so they aren't counted here and the real demand is higher.

One plan

The whole city, every day. Around 200–250 leads a week.

Questions

Where does the data come from?

City of Chicago building permits, which are public records. We filter them to the job types that bring dumpsters and add the contractor's phone from the City's licensed contractor registry. Jobsite Radar is not affiliated with the City of Chicago.

Does every lead need a dumpster?

No. A permit is a signal, not an order. Some jobs use a truck or a box on private property, and some homeowners do the work themselves. The list is built to put the likeliest and largest jobs first.

Is the list exclusive?

No. Every subscriber gets the same citywide list. What decides the job is who calls first.

How fresh is it?

The City publishes permits about a day after they're issued, and weekend permits usually appear on Monday. You get them as soon as they're published.

How do I cancel?

Use the "Manage or cancel your subscription" link at the bottom of any list email, or email info@aqlolabs.com. The next month isn't billed.
